Welcome to the monthly(-ish) chatter post.

There are a couple active exchanges going on, primariy equinox_exchange, so I know that can make it difficult to talk about current vids you might be making or polishing.

So.... how about past vid exchanges?
Participant or watcher, recipient or vidder, what was your favorite exchange vid?

I've only officially participated in one exchange (equinox 2018) and I got two lovely vids as a result! Sweetestdrain made me a lovely Pan's Labyrinth vid, and I got a Monsters, Inc. treat from dirty_diana. I keep telling myself that I won't do exchanges for a while because deadlines make me nervous, but then I see requests for pinch hitters and the idea of someone ending up without a vid makes me sad, so I'm doing my second pinch hit atm. Which is even worse as the deadlines are usually shorter, but so far people have liked my vids so it's worth it :)

I'm torn on the impact of a deadline. Without one, it can take me 2-3 YEARS to finish a vid. But, like you said, sometimes the deadline and the fact it's being made for someone else can make one anxious.
