Yeah, with the free software I initially tried using, even trying to adjust clips got super laggy when the source was longer than ~8 minutes, so that definitely affected my approach to vidding. I think DaVinci Resolve can handle bigger stuff without those issues, but I still like the organizational perks of clipping :)
I suppose DVDs will eventually go the way of VHSs, but I'll never really be a fan of the content-as-a-service entertainment model.
