That makes sense! I have ended up with some giant project files with eg all the robot shows I vid, so that I can make multi vids as well as single fandom vids off of that. It takes ages to open those projects, haha. (In theory I can import the subclips from one file into another; in practice if there is more than like a movie's worth of clips Vegas crashes ...)

I do still rip most of my source, but I know a lot of people don't :D And more and more often now things don't even get released on DVD ... ;;
