I'm trying to get back into a couple of Star Wars projects.
General question, particularly for Windows users: What program(s) do you use to handle clipping? Or just how do you do it in general?
I've been using VLC media player's record button but a lot of my clips have been coming out pixelated or otherwise damaged, which has been incredibly discouraging. At first I blamed my old laptop's failing hard drive, but it's happening on my new computer too, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Right now I'm trying to use DaVinci Resolve and rendering individual clips, but it's taking significantly more time and I don't yet know if they're coming out any better.
