Per usual, an 'event' has revived my vidding interest. Not that it ever disappears, but it does tend to diminish as life gets busy. Anyway, in this case it was VidUkon (yay!). So that's what's new with me. ;)
One of my goals was to participate in vexercises, which I nearly forgot about - but I slid into the first one at the last minute, so WIN! The second exercise has recently been posted and you can join at any time. This one is 'Visual Continuity' and I love it when I see it in vids, so it's going to be fun to try and fuss out having the patience to do it myself.
There were so many AMAZING vids that premiered at VidUkon this past weekend, but I found this one in particular to be insipiring: Wherever Is Your Heart by cosmic_llin It's a multi-fandom vid set to one of my favorite musical artists, Brandi Carlile. It feels like such a celebration of women and all the ways their relationships manifest onscreen. Just very beautiful.
